The funny video shows a wolf struggling to stay awake while sunbathing in its snow-covered enclosure.

In the clip, the animal can be seen playing with another wolf as the person recording pets it through the fence.

Then several moments later it split ways with the other wolf and it laid down on the snowy ground in order to catch some sunrays and get some vitamin D.

But as soon as it touched the ground, the wolf started repeatedly yawning before slowly dozing off to sleep by the end of the video on December 13 in Heilongjiang, China.

The wolf (Canis lupus) popularly known as the grey wolf, is native to Eurasia and North America. The species' global population was estimated at around 300,000 in 2003.

It is listed as of 'Least Concern' on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List of Threatened Species (IUCN).
