Woman loses teeth after accidentally slamming into glass store window
This is the painful moment a woman's teeth were knocked out when she walked into a clear glass window that had just been cleaned.
CCTV cameras captured the shopper, who was not identified, trying to enter a store on a street in Jiaxing, in Zhejiang Province, China, at around 5 pm on December 20.
As she attempted to enter inside, she accidentally walked straight into the glass window and hit her face.
To her shock and horror, as she looked down, she realised the impact had caused two of the front teeth to fall out.
The woman later confronted the shop's owner and demanded compensation because there had been no warning signs posted anywhere outside the glass.
However, they entered a disagreement, according to an employee who provided a different account of the incident.
According to the employee's description, the woman did not collide with ordinary glass but with the storefront window inside the store.
The window is specifically placed behind a wall for hanging clothes and is not intended as a passageway.
Before the woman collided with the glass, she had looked in the direction of the entrance, indicating she was apparently not aware of the window's location.
The employee claimed they had asked if the woman needed to go to the hospital first, but she only expressed mild discomfort.
But the woman disagreed with the business's response. She stated that after the employee returned, she received no consolation, not even a comforting word.
She said she believes that if it were just a bump on the head, she might have chosen to leave, but breaking two front teeth is something she cannot accept.
