Psychology professor stuns class by hypnotising male student
This is the moment a psychology professor shocked his entire class by performing hypnosis on a male student who became completely stiff and unresponsive during the demonstration.
Footage shows the elderly professor standing in the middle of the classroom and speaking to the large group of curious students at the Wuhan University of Technology in Hubei, China, on December 26.
They had all gathered around one boy, wearing a blue sweatshirt and yellow jacket, who had agreed to voluntarily participate in the experiment.
He stood amongst the lively crowd, and within moments, he was hypnotised by the skilled teacher.
His classmates nervously huddled around him, watching in astonishment as his eyes turned lifeless and his body turned rigid.
He seemed as though he was in deep sleep as he then stood with his eyes closed and remained completely stiff.
Incredibly, he did not even flinch as a few other students then lifted him up and moved him around the room.
Then, they placed his body on two small desks, with part of his torso hanging in the air.
The professor then placed two large books on him, and allowed one male student to climb on top of him.
Shockingly, he remained completely still and showed no response despite many expecting him to fall or curl up in pain.
Stunned by the demonstration, the entire class watched on with their mouths open and their phones recording.
