A mesmerizing 3,000-square-metre dragon was unveiled on the banks of the Songhuajiang River, marking the spectacular commencement of the Year of the Dragon in northeast China.

Local reports unveil that this grand dragon spectacle was inspired by a cultural heritage paper-cutting artwork.

The dragon's pattern also intricately formed the Chinese character "Fu," symbolising good fortune.

A 3,000 square meters dragon emerged alongside the Songhuajiang River to welcome the year of Dragon 2024 in northeast China.
