Japan: Smoke Billows From Crashed JAL Plane In Haneda Airport During Dismantling Operations

Black smoke briefly rose from the JAL plane that crash landed in Haneda Airport last January 2 during a dismantling and removal operations today, January 5.

Fire crews immediately responded and doused the smoke. Reports said that the remaining fuel may have ignited during the cutting of the wing.
