Bull rescued by fire service officials after it falls into 60-feet deep well in northern India
A bull was rescued by officials of the fire department after it had fallen into a 60-feet deep well in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.
This incident happened in Mahimapur village, Unchahar block in Rae Bareli district on January 5.
Visuals showed the bull being rescued from the deep well. Ropes were tied around the massive bovine's body and it was pulled out successfully after a lot of hard work. The rescue operation was not without its challenges. One of the ropes around the bull's body snapped while it was being pulled out and even after being rescued, the bull showed no signs of life at all. It kept gazing and blinking at times while lying down on the ground next to the well.
People shook up its body in order to spur it on and get back up but it was to no avail. One of the people involved in the rescue was seen pushing a couple of injections into the bull's body and after a while, it lifted up the upper part of its body while gazing around, even as the others tried to have it stand up on its feet by pushing its body and pulling its tail. The rescue operation was done by the Rae Bareli fire service unit.
