Charles Dickens wins 2024 L’Ormarins King’s Plate
Cape Town, South Africa - 6 January 2024: The 163rd L’Ormarins King’s Plate took place at the Kenilworth Race course. The annual horse racing gala event is one of Cape Town’s most glamorous events sporting blue and white as the event theme colours.
The race was won by Charles Dickens from the Drakenstein Stud owned by Gaynor Rupert. Charles Dickens was crowned 'Horse of the Year' at the Cape Racing and Cape Breeders Awards in 2023.
