Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt reveals a 2% cut to National Insurance during a visit to an Openreach training facility in Crawley.
Hunt states that the cut would save a family with two earners nearly £1,000 this year, stating that " a lightly taxed economy will grow faster". Despite this claim, the tax burden remaining around the highest it has been since the Second World War.
Hunt also discusses the Horizon computer systems scandal involving the Royal Mail.
