A motorist in Franklin, Tennessee, documented her hours-long ordeal as she tried to remove a tiny mouse from her car.

She eventually managed to safely remove the rodent from the vehicle after almost eight hours of trying.

"I found this little mouse sitting on my dash when I opened my car door on Tuesday, January 2 afternoon," said the filmer.

She added: "I thought he went out from where he came. After I got into my car and started to drive, he decided to run up my pants leg and I parked and began my video search.

"The remaining videos are my attempts to shoo him from my vehicle, wooing him with cheese, fretting over what to do, buying a live trap and finally catching him and releasing him more than the recommended two miles from my house.

"Peanut butter definitely works!

"It was a seven-and-a-half-hour ordeal!"
