STORYLINE:
The three-month conflict between Hamas and Israel has displaced more than 1.9 million people in the Gaza Strip, causing a great humanitarian crisis as food and daily necessities are in dire need.
Ahmed Masoud, a displaced Gazan himself, established a group to help provide food and shelter for the thousands of displaced in the southern city of Rafah in the war-torn coastal enclave.
He and 30 other young men contacted local businessmen, international organizations, and foreign donors, trying to get the needed funds for the displaced.

"Through this initiative, we are trying to assist the displaced with the simplest capabilities available to us. Therefore, we provide food, drink, and shelter. Especially as it is winter now, we also provide tents to the displaced people."
However, the limited assistance can not cover all the needy families as the number of displaced families reaching Rafah is soaring.
