Horse-and-cart charges into shop knocking over shelves in Cambodia
This is the dramatic moment a horse-and-cart charged into a shop in Cambodia.
The escaped animal had broken free from its rider and raced bolted a road with its wooden trailed in tow in Kampong Cham province on October 18.
CCTV footage shows the frenzied horse gallopping across the road and knocking over a parked motorcycle before running into the store selling construction materials.
Shocking customers and staff bravely tried to stop the beast before it crashed.
The horse struck the cashier's desk and toppled shelves as locals moved away from its path. It ran further inside the building and finally stopped at a dead end.
The female store owner, seen in the video in a pink shirt, was seen crying as she surveyed the damage done to the shop.
Owner Chan Tou said: 'I never thought a horse would run into my shop. Nobody was hurt but I was very frightened because it was strong.
'Some of my stock was damaged and the man with the horse said he would pay for the damage. He was using the horse to take food to a market to sell.'
Villagers later arrived to pull the detached cart and lure the horse outside.
Local authorities urged livestock owners to secure their animals to avoid causing harm to others.
There were no casualties reported.
