s This is the moment a terrified woman was chased by a pack of stray dogs - narrowly escaping by running through a gate.

The incident was captured by CCTV cameras in a square at the Centurion Park Low Rise apartments in Greater Noida, in northern India, where the dogs can be seen lying on the ground as the woman walks across the area.

One of the dogs ran up to her and she tried to discourage it from coming too close. But as she approached to other dogs, all three of them then suddenly decided to attack at the same time causing her to run off screaming.

She grabbed an item of clothing and waved it behind her to distract the dogs and avoid being bitten on the legs.

They finally gave up the chase of the screaming woman as she ran through a gate and disappeared off-camera. But her cries could continue to be heard as three men then came over with one of them retrieving her cloak and dusting it off before handing it to the woman.

As the video ends, the three dogs are seen also leaving the scene and running away. There were no details of how badly injured the woman was, or whether any action will be taken against the dogs or the owners if they can be found.
