This incredible Chinese dragon sculpture was crafted entirely from recycled tires.

Footage shows the intricate 12ft sculpture of the fearsome mythical creature made using more than 500 scrap wheels in Zibo City in Shandong, China on October 25.

The artist named Bai said he studied welding in school and thought to use the discarded tires around his home for the artwork, which took 45 days to make.

He said: 'I came up with the idea of creating products from the tires after my previous business venture failed.'

Bai now showcases his artworks on social media, where people praise his artistry and attention to detail.
