Ecuador's President Daniel Noboa has declared war on criminal gangs after a group of gunmen stormed TC Televisión network headquarters during a live broadcast on January 9.
This follows the state of emergency declared by Noboa just a day before regarding the prison escape of the country's most dangerous gang leader Adolfo Macías.
Footage shows a police presence near the TV station during the incident.
