Workers look for million-dollar imperial green jade ring in river
The bizarre video shows workers looking for a million-dollar imperial green jade ring that a photographer mistakenly dropped in the river.
Footage from the city of Foshan in Guangdong, China, shows jewellery store employees pumping water out of the river in order to find the rare gem on January 5.
The incident happened when a photographer, identified as Mr. Hu, who attempted to show the natural light of the valuable item, reached out of the window while showing it to a couple of clients during a live broadcast.
But he then left the potential buyers in awe after he suddenly dropped it into the river flowing outside.
Jewellery company officials then hired a professional team of workers to block the river on both ends and track the ring down.
However, despite their best efforts, the ring has not been found yet, said Chinese media.
