This is the shocking moment an escaped bull rammed into a mother and her daughter while they were riding by on a motorcycle.

Nittaya Kaewyai and her daughter Sutthida, 7, were returning home from a shopping mall when the hostile bovine rushed towards them in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeast Thailand, on January 11.

Dramatic footage shows the raging beast, spooked by the motorcycle's roaring engine, charging toward Nittaya and Sutthida and knocking them off the two-wheeler before fleeing into the nearby woods.

However, Sutthida's shirt was caught on the animal's horn and she was dragged some 100 metres away as her frantic mother chased after her.

She managed to free herself from the snag as passers-by called an ambulance to rush her and her mum to the Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital.

Speaking today, January 12, Nittaya said she had taken Sutthida to the mall to buy shoes as a present for Children's Day when they encountered the bull, which is believed to have broken free from a nearby field.

She said: 'Sutthida still has some bruises, but her condition has improved. She is conscious, but she is still vomiting a little.

'The x-ray results for her brain and stomach showed no internal damage, but she sometimes has nosebleeds probably from being dragged through the grass and some tree branches.

'This was the scariest thing that has happened in my life. I am thankful that my daughter is alive. But I want to find the owner of the animal so they can take responsibility for cost of treating the injuries at hospital and the damage to my motorcycle.'

Doctors were monitoring Sutthida's condition at the hospital. Police are also tracing the owner of the escaped animal.
