A Thai black magic doctor sparked outrage by licking his followers' bottoms in a bizarre blessing ritual he claimed would bring them carer success.

Footage shows witch doctor and alleged cult leader Ajarn Man conducting the strange ceremony by anointing the woman's backside with gold leaf while muttering a charm to bring her good fortune.

He gave her a brief massage, rubbing the gold leaf into her skin, then blew on her buttocks before sticking out his tongue and licking her in what appeared to be an oral sex act.

The occult practitioner claimed the ritual, which he said he learned from his hometown in Surin, northeast Thailand, was performed in front of his other disciples, adding it was a 'genuine' practice for spiritual cleansing.

Video of the now-deleted apparent sex act sparked outrage when it emerged online, with locals saying they had never heard of the explicit act being a spiritual ritual.

Shocked locals claimed Ajarn was an OnlyFans creator who allegedly makes money selling explicit videos on the platform.

Meanwhile, the tattooed occultist, who posts risque photos of himself wearing only underwear on his social media, said clients usually came to him to have spells cast on them.

He said he also received unusual requests, including from followers who have asked to have their buttocks or genitals blessed 'to attract men or become successful prostitutes'.

He claimed he carefully chooses which requests to fulfill, and would deny those who only 'wanted to experiment with black magic'.

He said: 'I have been performing this ritual for more than 10 years. My customers keep coming back because my blessings are effective. I've already gained numerous disciples, including someone from foreign countries and celebrities.'

Ajarn said he has no fixed charge for performing the ritual, and would leave his clients to decide how much to pay him.

'Gilding ceremonies' in which superstitious devotees cover their body parts with gold foil were popular in parts of Thailand, with some believing the ritual would make them more attractive or bring them good luck.

Police said there had been no complaints from alleged victims so there was currently no action against the cult leader.
