Refugees fleeing the ongoing war in Gaza have retreated as far as the border with Egypt, also known as the Philadelphia Axis, setting up a tent city to take shelter in as the conflict enters its fourth month.

Footage of the refuge built by the city of Rafah filmed on January 15th shows many makeshift shelters and tents set up in an area with no water or electricity.

The refugee camp has increased dramatically in size since October as Gazans have fled the expansion of the conflict across the entire Gaza Strip.

As Israel's war on Gaza continues and enters its fourth month, Palestinians continue to flee their homes in the central Gaza Strip in search of a safe place inside the Strip after they reached the last border point with Egypt.

A group of families set up their tents a few meters away from the Egyptian border in an area where there is neither water nor electricity. They obtain the basics of life with great difficulty after being displaced several times, as they await their return to northern Gaza after the end of the war.
