Hwy 40 Closure Continues after avalanche in Grand County, CO, USA

The Grand County Sheriff's Office has issued an update on the current road conditions in the aftermath of an avalanche. In a video shared, the sheriff drives on a snow-covered road to illustrate the challenging situation. As of 12:40 pm on January 14, according to Colorado Department of Transportation (ColoradoDOT), avalanche cleanup operations are in progress, and Highway 40 remains closed.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office pledges to keep the public informed with further updates as more information becomes available. Travelers are advised to stay tuned for announcements and exercise caution in the affected area until the situation is resolved.
