The war in Gaza turns 100 days and the death toll reaches 24,000

This weekend marked 100 days since the deadly attack by Hamas militants in Israel on 7 October 2023, in which some 1,200 people were killed and 240 taken hostage.
Of these, 130 remain in detention, and it is not known if they are still alive. Following that incursion, Israel began a counter-offensive in Gaza, which has left almost 24,000 dead, including thousands of women and children. According to the Ministry of Health of that territory, this Saturday alone, 135 people lost their lives in Israeli attacks.
