This footage was filmed and produced 2 January 2024.

On January 2, 2024, in Nanyang, Henan, a man was reunited with his long-lost dog a year and a half after it was accidentally lost.

The man came to the dog market that day to help a friend find another dog, but accidentally recovered his own dog that had been lost for over a year. The three-year-old Alaskan named Coke, who was just about to be sold, started barking excitedly on hearing the filmer's voice and was finally able to be reunited with his owner.

Coke's fur was all knotted together, dirtied from over a year of wandering. Upon meeting his owner, the dog excitedly made sobbing noises, almost sounding like calling "mom," leaving many onlookers moved to tears

After calling the police, the filmer bought Coke and finally brought him home. The filmer, Mr. Wang, also feels very lucky to have met and saved Coke at the last minute, as he rarely goes to the dog market in general. According to him, Coke was lost once in 2021 and was recovered 8 months later, this is the second time he has been missing.
