In a targeted operation, commando units of the IDF's OZET Combat Intelligence Collection Unit initiated an assault on Hamas infrastructures in additional areas within the Khan Yunis region. Preceding the attack, a precise artillery barrage from the Fire Array targeted various objectives, including the Palestinian Islamic Jihad headquarters.

Combatants from the Maglan and Duvdevan units raided the offices of senior commanders in the Southern Brigade of the Khan Yunis Division. Notably, the raid uncovered numerous combat tools, weapons, ammunition, and grenades within the brigade commander's office. The units also identified surveillance cameras belonging to Hamas in the area, which were subsequently neutralized.

Further south in Khan Yunis, Duvdevan unit operatives raided dozens of Hamas infrastructures, engaging in combat with a group of militants encountered during the operation, resulting in their elimination.

The commando units, having previously participated in the October 7th conflict in the Gaza periphery, expanded their operations to the northern Gaza Strip, specifically in the Shati area and the city of Khan Yunis.

Following their successful mission, the commando units withdrew from the Gaza Strip and have now joined the Judea and Samaria Division. There, they will continue to execute operational tasks in line with the current situation on the ground.

The identified combat assets, revealed by the commando units, underline the ongoing efforts to dismantle and neutralize Hamas infrastructures, ensuring the security of the region.
