Heroic footage shows a firefighter rescuing a dog that had fallen through a frozen lake in North Davis, Utah.

Logan, who was attached to a rope, slowly crawled towards the distressed dog named Bob.

The firefighter then managed to lift the pooch enough for it to find its footing on the icy surface.
