In a comical turn of events, a video captures the amusing moment when the Bowler brothers found themselves airborne, tumbling off a stolen motorbike, courtesy of a police car's 'low-speed tactical contact.' The incident unfolded during a daring chase on February 8, 2023, as the brothers, known for multiple thefts, were traced to Broxtowe Country Park after pilfering a bike in Sherwood.

Spotting the brothers on stolen motorcycles, officers initiated a pursuit. The Bowlers, riding recklessly against traffic, faced the abrupt end of their escape as the police executed the tactical contact. Despite a brief attempt to flee, both brothers were swiftly apprehended.

Mark Bowler, charged with handling stolen goods and drug-driving, and Josh Bowler, facing charges of dangerous driving and driving without a valid license, pleaded guilty. Mark received a suspended 12-month sentence, 80 hours of unpaid work, and a 12-month driving license disqualification. Josh was sentenced to a 15-month prison term, suspended for two years, coupled with a 12-month driving license disqualification.
