STORYLINE:
The first China Jilin Songhua River Skating Marathon Challenge will be held in Jingyu County, Baishan City, northeast China's Jilin Province from January 30th to February 3rd, according to the local authorities.
The skating marathon this year sets up three categories, including the full marathon, half marathon, and mini-marathon. Online registration for the event started on January 3rd.
According to the local publicity department, 10 ice and snow sports events and 10 ice and snow experience activities will also be carried out.
