A man rescued a driver trapped in a burning vehicle on a commute in eastern China.

The video was filmed on January 11 in the City of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province.

Noticing the crying and the heavy smoke, the rescuer, Mr.Chen, managed to save him without hesitation.

The driver was found being bound by the safety belt and his clothes were almost burnt by the flames.

Chen dragged him out of the car in 10 seconds. Seconds later, the car was entirely swallowed by the flame.

The injured driver froze in his stance, gazing at his burning car.

The police officers and firefighters came to the scene and put off the fire.

Chen remarked in local reports, “It was quite frightening in hindsight but if he didn't rescue him, he might not have survived.”

His hands were scratched as he saved the man, and his clothes were burned slightly.
