A masked thief swiped an air conditioning unit and a tricycle battery in a 20-minute bold burglary in eastern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Dongying City in Shandong Province on January 15.

A brazen thief donned a mask and struck in broad daylight, smashing open a door to access a property. Riding a tricycle, the culprit made off with an air conditioning unit's external compressor and the tricycle's battery.

The victim, upon discovering the theft, reviewed surveillance footage revealing a shocking 20-minute-long heist. The audacious thief seemed utterly unapologetic, carrying out the act with the confidence of someone in their own home.

Having promptly reported the incident to the authorities, the police responded swiftly. An investigation has been initiated, though as of now, no significant leads have surfaced.
