Hikers find Cold War era camera - complete with film
Footage of two hikers uncovering a 1950s soviet camera while walking close to Eagle creek, OR, US.
The video, shot late last month, was recorded by Ethan Field and Ron Campbell as they dug out the mysterious Exakta camera.
"I stepped over something I originally thought was a flask, because it was buried lens down almost completely covered, I dug it out, the first thing I noticed was it had film in it!", Ethan Field later wrote online.
"The trail from here was at least 300' above up a sheer cliff. This unfortunate photographer must have dropped it and could not get down there".
Despite damage and potential light leakage, the pair have sent the film to a lab to see if any images can be recovered.
