These images show a Ukrainian sniper taking out a Russian soldier on the front lines, reportedly from a distance of 900 metres.

The footage, shot through the scope of a sniper rifle, shows the Russian soldier being hit by the Ukrainian sniper with pinpoint accuracy.

The images were obtained from the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Wednesday, January 17, along with a statement saying: 'The distance is 900 metres, on the street - 20Minus the occupier.'

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between February 24, 2022, and January 17, 2024, Russia had lost approximately 372,820 personnel, 6,126 tanks, 11,372 armoured combat vehicles, 8,811 artillery units, 964multiple launch rocket systems, 653 air defence systems, 331 warplanes, 324 helicopters,6,884 drones, 1,817 cruise missiles, 23 warships, one submarine, 11,755 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,367 units of special equipment.

Emmanuel Macron plans to visit Ukraine in February, aiming to solidify a bilateral security agreement for France to supply the country with advanced weaponry, such as long-range cruise missiles.
