STANDUP 1 (English): ZHANG TIANLANG, Xinhua correspondent in Jerusalem
"Israeli army announced on Thursday that it has destroyed the main rocket factory in Gaza, in addition to dozens of tunnel shafts built by Hamas during the ground operation conducted by Israeli military.
And Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu held a press conference in Tel Aviv on Thursday night. He told reporters that Israel will continue fighting against Hamas until total victory, even if the war will last for more long months. The prime minister also claimed that after the current conflict, Israel will maintain security control over all territory west of the Jordan River, which of course includes Gaza."

STANDUP 2 (English): OHOOD AL-JAGHOUB, Xinhua reporter in Ramallah
"Two young Palestinian men were killed by Israel today in Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, raising the number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing military operation in the city to seven, as the Israeli army continues its wide-scale deadly offensive in the city and its refugee camps for the second day, in which its forces destroyed viable streets and infrastructure using D9 military bulldozers and continued imposing a complete blockade on Tulkarem refugee camp, subjecting hundreds of the camp's residents to prolonged field interrogations while blindfolded, handcuffed, and physically tortured.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners Society, the Israeli army arrested at least 50 Palestinians across the West Bank overnight. The arrests were concentrated in Bethlehem and Hebron, in addition to arresting many others from Ramallah, Tulkarem, Nablus, and Qalqilyia.
Gaza is approaching about a week of the most prolonged complete communications services blackout since the start of this war, while intense bombing and artillery shelling continue and intensify in central and southern Gaza, in addition to a significant increase of bombing in Rafah city, which borders Egypt. Without these services, the Palestinian population in Gaza is unable to reach rescue organizations, in addition to the disturbance of paramedics' and international agencies' work on easing the situation on civilians, as the civilian death toll exceeded 24,500."
