In a bold operation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a targeted raid on the "Martyrs Outpost" belonging to the Southern Battalion of Hamas' Khan Yunis Brigade. The operation, carried out by the Givati Brigade, took place in the southernmost area that IDF ground troops have operated in so far.

During the raid, the Givati Brigade soldiers engaged in intense close-quarters combat, eliminating dozens of militants with the support of tank fire and air support. Their precision strike successfully neutralized a key Hamas outpost and disrupted their military operations in the region.

The soldiers meticulously searched the compound, discovering a significant cache of weapons and intelligence documents. Among the seized items were dozens of hand grenades, AK-47 assault rifles, ammunition, excavation equipment, launchers, RPG missiles, explosives, and combat management documents.

The captured documents shed light on the outpost's role as a training facility for Hamas militants, providing insights into their tactics and operational strategies. The compound also housed operational offices used by senior Hamas military commanders, further disrupting their command and control capabilities.
