A police officer finished a food delivery for a DoorDash driver after she was injured in a crash.

Officer Anthony Johnson from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in Indiana, USA, offered to finish the delivery after attending the collision.

He completed the delivery 43 minutes later.

In a video released by the police department, officer Johnson can be seen handing the food to a very bewildered and thankful customer.

He can be heard saying: "Your driver, she was involved in a car accident. It's probably cold." "

He added: "I told her I would deliver it for her. I went to the wrong house at first and luckily they were honest with me."

"I just wanted to make sure it got to you."

The DoorDash driver was taken to hospital to be treated for chest and hand pain.

The incident happened on December 15, 2023.
