Woman struck by car in Kyshtovka while jaywalking: sustains head injury and fractured shoulder
On January 8, 2024, in Kyshtovka, Russia, a woman was struck by a car while attempting to cross the road outside of designated pedestrian areas. The incident occurred as she hurried across the street from the Teremok store towards the pharmacy, where no designated crosswalk was present. Failing to consider the danger posed by oncoming traffic, she was hit by the wheels of a passing car. The impact resulted in injuries, including an open head wound, a fracture in her right shoulder, and a bruised right hip. Fortunately, the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
