Rescue of four stranded students in the Red River Gorge in Powell County, USA

This footage showcases the moment rescuers located four stranded Asbury College students on Courthouse Rock in the Red River Gorge. Camping overnight, the students woke up to unexpected snow, creating a perilous situation. A collaborative effort from various rescue teams, including Kentucky State Police Aircraft Branch, Red STAR Wilderness EMS, Powell County Search and Rescue, and Wolfe County Search and Rescue, was crucial for the successful mission.
Meanwhile, another miracle rescue took place at Cumberland Falls State Park, where 35-year-old Walter Dale was found after being missing for two days. Hikers heard his call for help, and rescue crews attribute the fortunate discovery to divine luck. The incident prompts emergency management leaders to reassess safety measures for future outdoor activities.
Walter Dale, suffering from hypothermia, was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Hospital for treatment.
