A winter weather advisory went into effect for Caroline County, Maryland with winter storm warnings issued from Delaware across the northern eastern shore out to the western counties of the Baltimore and Washington DC metro areas in Maryland and Virginia. Forecasted with accumulations ranging from 2-3 inches, especially around Greensboro, snow totals increased with almost 5 inches in northern Caroline County to locally higher amounts up to 6 inches on the western side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
