UK activists march through London demanding the closure of Guantanamo Bay.
30 protesters representing the 30 people still being detained in Guantanamo Bay took to the streets today, Saturday January 20th to demand a closure of Guantanamo Bay.
Their flyer read, "Hundreds were taken to Guantanamo Bay, and were subjected to cruelty and degrading treatment. Obama promised to close the prison but failed. Trump refused to release any prisoners while threatening to bring back torture. US presidents Biden has stated he intends to close Guantanamo Bay, but urgent action is needed by campaigners for the for this to be achieved".
