South Precinct officers, during a routine patrol, discovered a vehicle parked at a gas station with occupants fast asleep, surrounded by drug paraphernalia. Upon approaching, officers observed signs of opioid use, prompting precautionary measures. Despite warnings, the driver attempted to flee, triggering a pursuit and the use of a tire deflation device named the "Terminator."

The suspect vehicle was immobilized, leading to a brief foot chase and the apprehension of the 33-year-old driver. The stolen vehicle yielded narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The suspect faces charges, including eluding police, possession of a stolen vehicle, and driving under the influence. He was booked into King County Jail, while other occupants were identified and released from the scene.
