In a targeted operation guided by the IDF Intelligence Directorate, the Nahal Brigade uncovered a Hamas strategic tunnel in Daraj Tuffah, northern Gaza Strip. The tunnel, spanning 100 meters, housed a weapons production site, revealing the group's capability to manufacture precision missiles. Under Iranian influence, Hamas operatives acquired expertise in crafting strategic weapons, marking a concerning development.

During the operation, the Nahal Brigade engaged in close-quarters combat and conducted air strikes, resulting in the elimination of several militants. The IDF released videos depicting the brigade's actions, the destruction of the tunnel, and the weapons found, including items with UNRWA identification. Colonel Yair Zuckerman, the Commanding Officer, provided insights into the mission.
