Large emergency response to Casualty on the tracks at Blackfriars Tube station
A significant emergency response was mobilised for an incident involving a casualty on the tracks at Blackfriars Tube station on January 19, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM. A westbound train was reported to have struck a person on the tracks. Responding to the scene were units from the London Ambulance Service, Metropolitan Police, British Transport Police, City of London Police, Transport for London's emergency response unit, and the London Fire Brigade. Additionally, specialist HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) paramedics were also in attendance.
