A View Of Kentucky Dam In The Month Of January During A Cold Winter Day In Western Kentucky
I spent the day at The Kentucky Dam in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. The tailwater of this dam flows into the Tennessee River and the top part of the dam is Kentucky Lake. It is a very cold day in Kentucky and the wind chill alone makes your fingers frozen within ten minute of exposure so its amazing to me that I see seagulls and pelicans floating and splashing in the frigid water with what seems like no effect on them. The waters are very turbulent at the dam during this day. If a fisherman were to fall into the water it is almost certain demise.
