Only one tractor and a few people are present at the three-day rally organized for transporters and farmers by a lawyer close to Senator Diana Sosoaca, president of the right-wing populist party SOS Romania, in front of Romanian Parliament.

Although the participation of 100 tractors, 100 trucks and 5000 people was approved at the rally the farmers and transporters refused to participate in order not to be associated with any political action despite the fact that they are in the 12th day of protest across the country against high prices of insurance, tax rates, long waits to cross the borders, demanding fiscal facilities, simplification of legislation, faster payment of subsidies to farmers affected by drought or losses.
