Russia's 'West' assault troops allegedly executed precision strikes on fortified positions and Ukrainian soldiers using 'Grad' fire systems near the front line city of Kupiansk.

The attack took place on January 18, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence/

It said in a statement: 'In a swift and relentless assault, the 'West' troop contingent's artillery units, equipped with reactive volley fire systems (RSZO) 'Grad,' executed precision strikes on fortified positions and live Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) in the Kupiansk Raion on January 18.

'Operating 24/7, the artillery teams showcased exceptional coordination, swiftly neutralizing identified targets. Real-time drone footag econfirmed the destruction of fortified positions.

'Working tirelessly for over six months, the RSZO 'Grad' teams demonstrated efficiency at a distance of up to 14kilometres.'
