Powerful winds from Storm Isha shredded two yachts sails in a Kent, UK harbour.

Two yachts in Queenborough Harbour were seen to have their foresails torn to shreds this afternoon (January 22) by the overnight storm.

A local weather station in nearby Sheerness recorded a maximum gust of 65mph yesterday evening.

The front sail (called a jib) is normally stored furled up when not in use, but the strength of the wind managed to unwrap them before tearing them to shreds.
