A thirsty rat snake stretches itself to receive water from a man's bottle in Indonesia.

The video poster said: "In this video, I am giving a drink to a snake. This type of snake is called King Koros. It's a non-venomous snake. King Koros is also known as the king rat snake.

"The king rat snake is one of the largest types of rat snake in the world. They can grow up to 4 metres long, but found specimens are often only 1.21 to 2.75 metres long. Male snakes are bigger than female snakes. The front of the body is brownish grey with spots resembling whitish stripes, while the back of the body is blackish with the same white striped spots as on the front of the body.

"The underside of the neck is whitish or cream coloured, while the underside of the belly is dark grey. At first glance, this snake looks similar to the venomous Anang snake."
