This is the terrifying moment a huge python slithered across a family's kitchen window in Thailand.

The 8ft serpent jolted the residents when they found it draped on the window grilles at their home in Songkhla province on January 19.

The family called wildlife rescuers, who caught the python that had climbed up the kitchen's screen door.

The officers placed the snake inside a sack to be released into the wild.

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
