In an early morning response, CHP H-30 collaborated with Alameda County Fire, Pleasanton-Livermore Fire, East Bay Regional Parks, and the San Ramon Fire Department Helicopter Rescue Technician (HRT), along with Falck Ambulance, to address an overturned vehicle at Lake Del Valle. Reports indicated that the occupant was stranded on top of the vehicle in the midst of a swiftly flowing creek.

As rescue efforts unfolded, H-30, positioned overhead, lowered a San Ramon Valley Fire Department Helicopter Rescue Technician (HRT) to the scene. The HRT swiftly secured the victim in a rescue harness. Employing precise coordination, H-30 successfully hoisted both the HRT member and the victim from the submerged vehicle to awaiting firefighters.

The victim, who incurred minor injuries, was subsequently transported to a local hospital by ambulance. Preliminary findings suggest that the individual attempted to traverse a swiftly moving creek, resulting in the overturning of her vehicle.
