A ro-ro (roll-on/roll-off) cargo vessel carrying about 5,000 China-made vehicles, including over 1,700 new energy vehicles (NEVs), set off Wednesday from east China's Xiamen Port to European countries.
In recent years, Xiamen Port has become an important shipping hub for the export of new energy products. In 2023, more than 85,000 new energy vehicles were exported from Xiamen Port.
