Unexpected encounter: horse in Spanish mountains playfully removes diabetic glucose sensor
In a surprising encounter amidst the picturesque landscapes of Llanos de La Larri in the Pineta Valley, Huesca, Spain, @anamar_meow shared a unique experience on August 24, 2021. While traversing the mountainous terrain with her partner, they halted to observe and interact with a group of horses. One particularly amiable horse engaged with them, licking and nibbling, seemingly drawn to the salt from their sweat. Little did she realize that amidst the friendly gestures, the horse had playfully removed the glucose sensor she wore on her arm. Having been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes since childhood, the unexpected incident took her by surprise.
