Despite the continuous fighting between Israel and the Lebanese Shiite militia of Hezbollah across the borders, the Lebanese farmers remained in their villages and engaged in harvesting their crops.
Israel and Hezbollah are engaged in a mini-war since the Palestinian Islamist group of Hamas launched the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on Oct. 7, 2023, although both parties declared the respect of rules of engagement applied since the end of the 2006 war between the two foes.
