Fisherman floats across river on DIY boat made of plastic containers
A fisherman floated across a river on his DIY boat made from plastic containers - that resembled a dragonfly.
Footage shows Luo climbing aboard the practical vessel made of two plastic containers on either side for buoyancy and paddling forward using a bamboo stick in Hubei, China, on January 15.
A long piece of wood in the middle connected the hull and he successfully steered along the water safely.
The boat is locally known as a ‘water dragonfly' because of its unusual shape that resembles the creature. Locals say they are suitable for short-distance fishing.
